Jazz at Oito Dezoito – CLOSED

Every Wednesday night, this sophisticated bar on the 2nd floor of Luanda’s tallest building, the Escom Tower, turns into a lively jazz venue hosted by a band aptly called “Smooth Wave”. The jam sessions are well-frequented and well worth it, and the place prides itself in having “Angola’s best cocktails”. We’ll let you be the judge for that. If you do make it here to sample the cocktails, relax in the knowledge that you’re participating in some of the best Wednesday nights you can have in this city, keeping in mind that these jam sessions are done in partnership with the people from the Luanda Jazz Festival.

A review of Oito Dezoito beyond it’s jazz night is coming soon.
