Trinca Espinhas

This relatively well known restaurant is a favourite hit with the Portuguese expat community in Luanda, and it is easy to see why. Their Portuguese fish dishes are one of the best I've tried in Luanda and they provide good value for money. A main course dish will cost you no more than 2500 kwanzas. But the popularity does have a down side: you might have to book in advance as they are known to be extremely busy at peak periods; particularly on weekends.
We recommend Trinca Espinhas for the good value for money and their superb food

Now re-opened, after several weeks of renovation. We will update the post with new photos and information as soon as we get a chance...

Didn't like this place. Nice settings but bad food. The "açafrão" rise was just awfull.

Who Are We?

We are a bunch of guys and gals, living and working in the most vibrant of cities: Luanda! We are dedicated to discovering new and cool hang out places - those that no one else will tell you about - and giving you our honest humble opinion. From the pretentious overpriced bars and restaurants on Ilha; to that charming little roof top restaurant on a two story building on the Marginal: if they serve food and drinks, we are there to review it!
